The science of human origins is a multidisciplinary approach that seeks to understand all aspects of the evolutionary development of Homo sapiens.

It combines fields such as paleontology, comparative anatomy, comparative physiology and behavioral studies to unravel the adaptive pressures that ultimately resulted in our own species.
